Plant hormones, aka plant growth regulators, are naturally occurring chemicals within plant tissues, and regulates their growth and development. These hormones are usually synthesized in certain parts of the plant and moved from one part to another throughout the plant. The five major classes of plant growth regulators include Auxins, Cytokinins, Gibberellins, Polyamines, and Abscisic acid. Each one plays an important and specific role in the development and physiological processes of the plant such as callus induction, root formation, inhibition of axillary bud…etc Most responses require those hormones acting together or are tightly controlled by one another, and due to their importance, are usually an integral part of nutrient media.

Outside of Eden’s products are a carefully crafted line of science-driven formulas, designed to grow better plants through science. There are numerous plant hormones and unlimited concentrations and ways of combining them, but Outside of Eden developed proprietary mixtures, ensuring your plant gets the exact nutrition it requires.

Below are a list of articles that will help familiarize yourself with the plant growth regulator world and to peek into how Outside of Eden’s formulas are developed.
